Bootstrapping a puppetmaster

I’ve been meaning to link to this post on Dan Fosters blog for a while: http://www.zem.org.uk/2015/02/10/puppetmaster-bootstrapping/

It’s only a short post, but it’s got a lot of good ideas in there and the bootstrap.sh script that Dan links to makes for interesting reading (and ticks all the cool vagrant/r10k/foreman keyword boxes!)

About Paul Seward

Paul is a Linux sysadmin looking after the servers behind the ResNet and eduroam networks, and the main campus DNS infrastructure at the University of Bristol. He's been using unix of one flavour or another for more than 2 decades, and is still constantly surprised by useful commands he didn't know existed.
